Frogtown Crossroads – NDC HQ
University Avenue is full of gems all the way up and down. Through the City of St. Paul’s Commercial Corridor Program, Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) has the opportunity to highlight businesses across the Corridor from Lexington Avenue to Rice Street.

The METRO Green Line connects this Corridor through neighborhoods filled with local restaurants, cafés, shops, markets, artists, and entrepreneurs. Explore small businesses along University Avenue while riding one of the Twin Cities’ busiest transit lines.
Lexington marks the western edge of this corridor and serves as the starting point, with a mix of independent restaurants, retail, and emerging health-focused options.
This stretch reflects a culturally rich transition area with East African, Southeast Asian, and arts-focused businesses.
Western Avenue offers a mix of locally owned restaurants and personal service businesses.
Dale Street Station sits in the heart of Frogtown and is one of the most vibrant clusters of immigrant-owned restaurants and businesses along the corridor.
Located near the Minnesota State Capitol, this station connects riders to a smaller cluster of locally owned retail and service businesses.
