When businesses help create other new businesses in their own communities, a few critical things happen. Important relationships are fostered and strengthened between business owners and community members. Real estate becomes more valuable. Community members are given more of a voice in creating the kind of neighborhoods they want to live in.

In partnership with neighborhood businesses, community groups, many foundations, and private donors, NDC is able to provide business training and support to people in communities of color and low-income neighborhoods throughout the Twin Cities.
