NDC is an exciting, growing nonprofit that’s made its mark on the social and economic fabric of the Twin Cities. As a leader in community economic development, NDC and its successful micro-enterprise model have proven to serve as a catalyst for building vibrant, thriving communities and stabilizing local economies. NDC’s mission and services are only made possible by neighborhood partnerships and through the support of individuals.
NDC utilizes volunteers in a variety of ways to support the work of the organization. Depending on the interests of the volunteer and the needs of NDC, individuals can have opportunities to assist certain departments like accounting, training, and business services, participate on a committee, develop new program initiatives, or help plan and implement events
NDC interns are an important and valued part of our organization, and contribute to our program areas in a variety of ways. As an intern, you will work alongside NDC staff in one of our main program areas or support functions, and have opportunities to lead projects, develop new initiatives, and generally help to deliver value for our small business and entrepreneur clientele across the Twin Cities metro.
Local organizations who are interested in developing entrepreneurs within NDC’s priority neighborhoods can team up with us as business training partners.
At both the state and city level, government organizations have seen the value of NDC’s work for their citizens and neighborhoods. We welcome partnerships at all levels to continue and enhance our work.
Real Estate Partnerships
