Capacity Building Program

Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) understands that community-based organizations have a unique role to play in the identification of “underground” entrepreneurs, the support of small business and the revitalization of neighborhoods and local economies. The goal of the NDC Local Capacity Building Program is to ensure that community-based organizations receive the support they need to grow, develop and continue to serve as assets to their communities.

Recognizing the regional success and growing national and international interest in the NDC development model – and the replicability of the model itself – we have also developed the National Training and Consulting Program to share the NDC model with low-income communities across the country and assist them to create their own successful programs.
