NDC Annual Entrepreneur Recognition & Awards Banquet

The Neighborhood Development Center holds the annual tradition of honoring outstanding entrepreneneurs who have persevered in starting and developing their own businesses. We want to recognize their hard work and discipline as they build their businesses. To read about the nominated entrepreneurs, click here.

In addition, NDC honors their Neighborhood Partners, who are the local community developers and organizers of the Twin Cities, as well as the different ethnic development centers, who aid us and walk with us as we serve these communities and ethnic groups. Without them, NDC would not be able to reach and help prepare these entrepreneurs to be equipped in starting a business and helping their communities.

Each of these different Neighborhood Partners seriously evaluate the existing businesses in their area and nominate one as the entrepreneur of the year because of its impact in the community, the stability of the business and its overall health as a starting or developing business. Each of these nominated businesses earns an award for being the Entrepreneur of the Year for their neighborhood, and one business is awarded the overall Entrepreneur of the Year award.

All NDC alumni and neighborhood partners, funders, supporters, instructors and friends are invited to join us in celebrating and honoring the impact these rising businesses are having on their communities and neighborhoods. We want to acclaim and celebrate the example these outstanding entrepreneurs have become to their peers, neighbors and family. In this way, we also support the way in which they are creating and sustaining employment and income for themselves, their family and the neighborhoods they are committed to supporting.

This will be a great place to meet other entrepreneurs, network and have a good time celebrating the event.
