NDC's Small Business Financing fills a gap in the Twin Cities finance market by providing access to credit for start-up businesses and other entrepreneurs who are unable to access traditional sources of capital. As of December 2003, NDC had provided 263 loans for a total of $3,694,609 in small-business financing.

Graduates of the Micro-Entrepreneur Training Program who have a strong business plan and the ability to locate or expand a business in one of our targeted neighborhoods (see Who We Serve section) are eligible to apply for small-business loans, or Reba Free (Islamically acceptable) financing. Financing is based on resource availability; most loans range from $500 to $10,000, with a 10% interest rate.
